About the Monograph

First Edition of the Monograph was released in 1950. And from then onwards, the Volume has been revised/reprinted number of times (15 editions so far) over the last seven decades. In this new version, various technological and regulatory aspects with respect to advancements in Fruit & Vegetable processing have been incorporated. The information which is compiled by our Scientists have ensured that the focus is always for micro-entrepreneurs, SHGs and tiny industries, who are the backbone of the rural economy. It is expected that, the new volume would be an inspiration for many budding startups who would like to venture into Fruits & Vegetable Processing.
