• Received “Award for Best Feature Article 2009” from AFST(I), Mysore for the publication entitled “Jilebi – An Indian Traditional Sweet”. • Received “Individual Award for Best Scientific & Technical contribution under Group III” – instituted by CFTRI – 2004 • As a team received “Best Technology Award for New formulation of Energy Food” - instituted by CFTRI – 2004 • Received “Madras Farmers’ Forum Srinivasan” Prize Rs.1000/- for having secured First Rank by obtaining 1101/1200 marks (92.0%) in the Bhaktavatsalam Polytechnic, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu for the year 1988. • Received “First prize for Best poster under Traditional Foods category” at IFCON-2008, held at Mysore, during 15-19 December 2008. • Received “First prize for Best Poster category under Food Engineering” at IcFOST-2004, held at Mysore, during 9-10 December 2004 • Received Cash prize and Personal pay for securing 84.5% marks in Hindi-Praveen Exams. • Received “Cash Award” for passing AMIE Sec-A exams in single sitting by securing 68.0% marks from The Institution of Engineers (India), Calcutta for the year 1992.
