Awarded UNU-Kirin Fellowship 2013-14, NARO-NFRI,Tsukuba,Japan Awarded for recognition, 2010 for the variety release of celery Ooty-1 from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. Awarded for the Home Science Staff and Dr. S. Kannaiyan award for the best Ph.D. student in Food Science and Nutrition, 2005. Awarded for the best research article for the poster presentation entitled “Minimal processing of gherkins and stored under MAP and Post harvest management of fresh gherkins (Cucumis anguria)” in the National Seminar held during 20th and 21st March, 2006 at Annamalai University, Chithambaram. Awarded with first prize by Madras Agricultural Student’s Union (MASU) for English essay competition, 2003. Awarded with second prize by Madras Agricultural Student’s Union (MASU) for English essay competition, 2000.
