CFTRI Alumni Association institutes awards to meritorious M.Sc. (Food Technology) students, every year. The award ceremony function was held on July 8, 2016 for the 2014-2016 batch of students. Prof. Ram Rajasekharan, Director, CSIR-CFTRI presided over the function and Prof. K Vijayamohanan Pillai, Director, CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi was the Chief Guest of the function and presented the awards to meritorious students.
